Components of Excellent Warm-up:

1. General Warm Up

Light physical activity intended to increase heart and respiratory rate.

2. Static Stretching

Light Stretching in a stationary position.

3. Sport Specific Warm up

More intense activities designed to warm specific muscles used in sport we are going to play.

4.  Dynamic Stretching

Dynamic stretching involves a controlled, soft bounce or swinging motion to force a particular body part past its usual range of movement. The force of the bounce or swing is gradually increased but should never become radical or uncontrolled.
